At Lotus and Lilac Design, we take design and craftsmanship very seriously and we want you to love these pieces as much as we do! Our furnishings are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but damages do happen, and we ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement when notified within 48 hours of receipt.
Lotus and Lilac Design does not accept returns or exchanges on the following items: custom upholstery, fabric swatches, furniture, art, sale items, or items purchased at warehouse sales or pop-up shops, or gift cards.
All of our items ship from within the United States, prices are shown in U.S. dollars. We cannot ship furniture outside of the US at this time. Please contact support@lotusandlilacdesign.com for any additional assistance.

This item ships via small parcel and should arrive within 2 weeks from the date of your order. Backorder dates are subject to change. A handling fee is applied to any decor that need extra care to ship or due to size needs to ship freight. This fee covers the expense of moving the piece into the desired space and does not include package material removal or assembly. As these are a handmade item, the size of books and direction of the grasscloth will vary.
A portion of the proceeds from items purchased through Lotus and Lilac Design Studio go to the Child Mind Institute to help more children get access to early diagnosis and treatment, and to fund researchers who are working to better understand and treat children struggling with mental health and learning disorders.
Anxiety, depression, ADHD and other mental health and learning disorders are real, common and treatable. Yet millions of children go undiagnosed and untreated. The Child Mind Institute is working to change this.
